We baked our first loaf in 1992 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

A group of kids from the Balkans running away from a country being torn apart, none of us had worked a single day in a bakery, and yet regardless, we made the decision to make bread. Through a lot of sweat, flour, laughter and tears, we were able to develop the methods and recipes that pushed us forward for more than 25 years. In the US Northeast, we became one of the leading pioneers of the artisanal bread movement.

Four simple ingredients, flour, water, salt and time.

When combined, these four players can look and taste a thousand different ways. We have played with the pieces, and through a bit of hard work, created these heartfelt harmonies that we cannot wait to share with you.  

We like to think that a good loaf has the power to bring people together, wherever they may be. Home is wherever you break, or in our case bake, bread.  Welcome to ours.
